Since her arrival
in the South her work with spirit has continued by
holding classes on a weekly basis in her home. Now at
76, she has limited her classes to semi-monthly. She has
done lectures and workshops for Unity Church,
International conventions and local groups.
With her deep
desire to educate those who are seeking to connect with
passed love ones, meet their personal guides, open up
their past lives, for a deeper understanding of
themselves, she has created what she calls " A Soul
Reading". These readings usually last between one hour
and a half, which are recorded in her classroom or
meditation room.
Ellie has taken 3
guided tours to Egypt, which has enhanced her knowledge.
She was blessed to have been given permission to hold a
meditation for two hours in the Kings Chamber in Cheop's
Pyramid in Giza. Her Egyptian assistant, who had great
knowledge of the metaphysical field, taught them an
ancient ceremony where they were anointed with lotus
oil. A ceremony Ellie still does in her lectures and at
her annual reunions. They meditated in small corners in
the temples of Philae, Komo, Karnack, Luxor, Denderah
and one of her favorites Abydos. They were respected by
the guards within these temples, who seemed to
understand our desire to give back..not take.
Ellie also has
had the pleasure of working with several International
mediums and healers at International events. She has
been a regular teacher at Robert Brown's annual
retreats, several held in the Bahamas, Eastbourne,
England and looking forward to May 0f 2008 in Virginia
Beach.
Ellie is a mother
of three, a daughter and two sons, which have produced 10
grandchildren, who have given her three great
grandchildren. Still working part time for a bridge
league, her favorite sport, duplicate bridge.
"Mama Ellie" was given her nickname by Robert Brown, an
endearing name for the many who feel personally adopted
by her.

My Creed
I
believe in God, the Creator. I see His
masterpiece in life, His display of colors in
animals, flowers, plants and trees. I see His
strength in mountains, granite and marble, His
movement in the oceans and rivers, His assurance
of miracles in the dawning of each day, the
peace of sleep at night, and the nourishment of
each raindrop and the reality of eternal life by
the changing of the seasons.
I believe I have lived before, being both
male and female, of all races, and all
religions.
I believe our souls never die, nor do
memories of loved ones go unforgotten.
I believe in spiritual guides and teachers,
who if allowed, will guide you to fulfill your
soul desires.
I believe we can communicate with passed
loved ones, who like our guides, are always
there if we but listen.
I believe there is goodness in every person,
but greed, power and authority could consume
their sight, and they would walk alone in
darkness.
I believe everyone has inner sight, a third
eye that slumbers, but if awakened can see the
unseen.
I believe in free will, our God-given right
to make choices, never allowing anyone to have
full control over us.
I believe in love, the true gift, the jewel
of compassion, the gold of forgiveness, and the
silver of understanding.
I believe that we of Light can be the ants,
tiny in size, billions in numbers that can move
the mountains of hatred, discrimination,
dishonesty, and fear.
